height on a stock S10
Ok, search function shows a LOT of matches, but not what I'm really looking for.
I am doing Skymangs version 2 cab mounts, which are the taller ones. I have the cab height set, but the front end on my frame is so shot I can move one front tire at a time and the ball joints allow me to move either tire about 1/2" at the top. So I was hoping to get a stock height for the S10 frame under an AD truck. I think I want to do the 48 at the stock S10 height, but would like to see some pictures if possible. So if anyone has pictures and/or measurements of an AD with a small block on a stock height S10 frame, that would be very helpful. Thanks.

Re: height on a stock S10
skymangs tall mounts put the running boards even with the bottom of the frame, which is still a bit of a "channel" because an s10 body sits up off the frame about 3 inches.
it will depend on the suspension you have on the truck too, the highrider Z85 has 3 leaf (+ overload) and heavy duty coils and is 1.5 inches higher than a stock S10, and a ZQ8 has 1.5" lowered springs compared to a stock s10. and to make it more complicated, there are several different front spring rates for 2.0 2.5 and 2.2 4 bangers, 2.8 6 cylinders, and 4.3 6 cylinders. but a good visual is the old advanced design engineering site (now gone) who made one of the first swap kits for an S10 in the 90s. their mount kit also sets the running boards up level with the bottom of the frame. they used to have lots of swap pictures but this is the only one I found right off. it is with an LT1/4l60e

Re: height on a stock S10
Thanks.
So if I understand it, this picture is of a stock S10 with cab mounts that are roughly the same as the version II.
