List of Radios that fit 6.25 knob spacing.
I was wondering if there is a thread that list make/models that fit our stock 6.25 knob spacing w/o cutting the dash? I went back to 2016 post and didn't see anything.
Id be up for everyone tossing make/models in this post and lets get some info gathered.

Re: List of Radios that fit 6.25 knob spacing.
Most aftermarket are adjustable, so they fit almost all shaft sizes.

Re: List of Radios that fit 6.25 knob spacing.
In general, the 6-1/4" knob spacing was most common in GM vehicles throughout the 1960's. There were some exceptions (like Corvettes & Cadillacs for example) that had their own application specific radios though.
The 6-1/4" knob spacing continued up until 1972, at which point many GM vehicles changed to a narrower 5-3/4" knob spacing. There might be others, but the only ones I'm aware of that continued with the 6-1/4" spacing beyond 1972 would be Camaro & Nova (through 1976) and I think vans up into the 80's. The rectangular center faceplate section of GM radios with 6-1/4" knob spacing is most commonly 4-1/2" wide. But the height varies. |

Correct, I googled n found a lot of that. Trucks being the tallest height wise.
I'm looking for exact aftermarket model numbers that fit. |

Re: List of Radios that fit 6.25 knob spacing.
Sorry, I don't have any info on any of the aftermarket radios.
It might be a bit of a long shot, but maybe try contacting Kenwood, Pioneer, etc. to see if they have any info in their archives that cover the older models they used to offer years ago. Or look around on ebay, etc. to see if you can find any vintage catalogs from those companies that list the radios they used to offer. |

I looked on Alpines and kenwoods site, didn't see anything. Did not contact them.
I was looking at radios on ebay, some say shaft width. But I didn't think of catalogs, good idea. Will try that. |

Might check here: https://www.crutchfield.com/
They are a go to place for automotive radios. Might have old fitment info. Pretty sure that is where I bought my Kenwood KRC-3006 that is in my 75 C10 many years ago. |

I think 75 is 5.75 spacing, but I will check.
