Bucket seat Question

Sharing some pics of a set of buckets and a console.
wonder if the covers are original or redone?
I've heard "walrus" seat covers these are a pretty course texture?

Re: Bucket seat Question

They do look like the 69-72 seat type, but don't look like original covers. Then again, I've never heard of the walrus. Coo Coo Cachoo.

Re: Bucket seat Question

This is the correct grain. https://smsautofabrics.com/collectio...t-vinyl-l-3383 It is referred to as walrus. I bought some to replace a few panels on my '69 buckets. It's a very good match.

Re: Bucket seat Question

Aftermarket seat upholstery, Chevy never used that kind of vinyl for production seating.
