Head Info

Can anyone tell me whatever they can about this head part number. 88417398 and it appears that the heads was made in mexico since that is stamped on them.

Ok i had the wrong number. I found it
33417369...90-up...350..........Gen.I Goodwrench crate motor,
"Hecho en Mexico", 76cc

Now is this good or bad?

I have those heads on my 350. From what I hear, they are a pretty light weight casting, Pretty unnefficient because of the smog shaped chambers, usually pretty low compression because they are 76 CC. They are an allright head for a stock or slightly modified engine, but for anything else, I would go for a set of vortecs or camel humps before putting any money into them. Hope this helps! and sorry if this isn't want you wanted to hear.

Anyone else know different about these heads?

Hey its the truth. Hehehe NO biggie im running stock anyway. What about the manifold ports? I should be able to run a edelbrock 2101 performer on there no prob right?

Before I forget. What does the 76 cc mean? Not familiar with the terminolgy.

That's the size of your combustion chambers. They are for use with cheap gas. Sounds like you have a pair of targetmasters.

I've got the same heads (goodwrench). I have an edelbrock rpm air gap and it mounts fine. I would suggest getting the CORRECT felpro high performance intake manifold gasket. The regular ones don't seal very good with this setup. I would also suggest the copper sealant. It works well. I haven't had any leaks at all since the new gasket went on. Hope this helps a little.
