Coil Overs for our trucks
Have any of you used this kit, and if so, what do you think of it? I have been wanting to buy it for some time now, and I think I am for Christmas this year.
I like to hear from anyone who has used it though, before I do. http://www.classicperform.com/tech_a...coil-overs.htm

It sucks not being able to hear! LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB! After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs. |

I've thought of using it too. I think it lowers your rear end about 4-5 inches and will really affect your loading ability. If you don't plan to use your truck for towing or hauling, you should be fine. I won't do any of that when mine is done, so I am still considering it. I would also like to hear what others think about it. Or if anyone has used it.

Those shocks look so good, you would need a glass bottom bed floor, so everyone could see them.
Before you buy, check with CPP on dropped distance. I think you only get about 1"...must use blocks to get more than that...but not positive, so ask first...and let us know what you find out. |

My original plan was to use this kit with the c-notches. They make a 3" and 4 1/2" kit. Since they are true coil overs you will be able to adjust your ride height. I talked to them a few times and they were very helpful on the phone. I think it would be a very good kit.
