Squeaky clutch pedal driving me nuts!!
I have tried lubing the spring and every pivot point on my clutch pedal but it still squeaks every time I depress it. Anyone have some advice or a trick grease or a location of maybe I am missing... I have never had a clutch pedal squeak like this one ..... Truck is fully restored so every little noise drives you nuts now and this is a bad sweak....

Check where the clutch rod goes thru the firewall.

Mine did it also. It was the "garage door" style spring where it hooks on to the pedal pivot. Sprayed some MotorKote all over the hook on the spring. It shut up. Good luck.

Two choices. Turn the radio up or take the wife with you. Both have a way of drowning out squeeks. Have a good one.

Yep, I think it is definitely the spring. I will have to try a different type of lube.
thank you |

Re: Squeaky clutch pedal driving me nuts!!
I would remove the spring and check the results. I suspect the squeak is coming from the pedal shaft, it’s probably never been lubed, very easy to work on if you remove the instrument panel.
