Progress on marker light fuel filler install
I have finally made some progress on the install of the fuel filler door behind the rear marker light using the instructions posted on the link from Classic Heartbeat Pickup parts. The link was from a thread posted a while back. Everything is working out so far, I still need to cut off the end of the S-10 filler tube and weld on a reducer for the 1 1/4" hose to fit to the tank. I will post pics of the progress.
Thanks for all of the different ideas from everyone.

Dinnut, I am using a poly blazer tank, I orginally started with a fuel filler in the bed floor, but didn't like it.

Hey Red68,
Good job!!!! It looks great. I will say (from experience) that finding a reducer to 1 1/4 is a pain in the a$$!!! I went with a 2" to 1 1/2" for the filler neck, and used a 1 1/2" fuel filler hose. You have a poly tank so I don't know how to get the 1 1/2 hose to fit that neck. Good Luck finding the reducer you need!!!

I found the reducer pieces at the swap meet this weekend. It will take 2 pieces to reduce from 2" to 1 1/4". This guy had a milk crate full of different size exhaust pipe reducers, I found the right size now all I need to do is weld them together.
