LS Swap ECU Mounting Location
I have a 1950 Chevy AD that I’m trying to do a 6.0L LSX swap. I am using a Holley Terminator ECU. My question is where are the people who do LS swaps placing the ECU so it’s out of the way and somewhat hidden?

Re: LS Swap ECU Mounting Location
I'm gonna put mine under the seat....not much room behind the dash but may be some where there...
PSI is coming out with a builder series harness that should be long enough to go under seat And I think a BP harness is already long enough to go under seat

Re: LS Swap ECU Mounting Location
I made up a bracket to put mine behind the glove box, flat, up high and against the firewall. That way the wiring is protected and my stock harness will reach nicely. Still lots of room for a future heater or AC unit and I plan to put the stereo head in the glove box in front of it. There should still be enough room for the legal paperwork and even a pair of gloves.

I put mine on the inside of the firewall with a quick release clasp. Might paint the aluminum cover flat black to conceal it a little. Didn't want it on the passenger side of the firewall - saving that real estate for the ac unit.
