brake line routing front
What do people think about routing brake line here.
I cant run it through the C-channel frame as its fully boxed (closed on inside with supports). Going lower is hard to to the cross member and mainly Control arm supports. The line does rest on the top of the engine supports as it crosses behind the CA - which makes me wonder should I add .... https://www.amazon.com/Stainless-Bra.../dp/B01IRQXDZC thoughts ?

Re: brake line routing front
if the line is fastened to the frame, I don't see a problem. I would make sure that the line doesn't rub on anything - like the engine support. I would also consider creating some kind of heat shield since the header looks kind of close to the line.

Re: brake line routing front
yeah its kind of resting on the engine support ...... I'll have to see if I can notch out a small area or put something there. Hard to get more line supports/clamps in place now engine is in. Would need a right angle drill at minimum.

Re: brake line routing front
Probably a little ..... its copper.
Was thinking if I wrap it all in this https://www.amazon.com/Stainless-Bra.../dp/B01IRQXDZC Should be ok ...... as not contacting the metal frame.

Re: brake line routing front
that wrap would probably help, but I would try to bend the line. I had a brake line rub thru and I can tell you the results weren't pretty.
