Here is a GMC I bought and resold a couple years ago. I sure did enjoy driving that truck. Big block/ turbo 400/AC. Bought from 2nd owner he had it for a year or so.

After I cleaned it up. It’s back in OHIO now. It’s got a good life of hardware store trips and family cookouts.

More pics. The truck has served its duty for my buddy and his family. They have enjoyed it and are ready to upgrade sons transportation. We will see if I end up with it or not. Such a nice driver!! My buddy had the engine rebuilt and the transmission, re conditioned the AC !! Added a new steering wheel. It’s always nice to see an old friend back home. I can’t get over this truck is ORIGINAL paint!! Hugger orange!

Re: 1972 Cheyenne original truck a true survivor!

Wish i could have found a truck like this when i bought mine... the whole reason i wanted one of these trucks was because my grand dad had one just like this. Alas, i ended up with a 72 blue and white in similar condition so i cant complain to much. I will always break my neck when i see an orange and white out and about though

Re: 1972 Cheyenne original truck a true survivor!

Job well done, on everything!!!
A family friend of my brothers has a twin to the orange pickup.
I didn’t know he owned it until 2 years ago, all original, too.
I ask him about it every time I see him, in case he ever wanted to part with it.
