This thread made me remember to order one this morning , To use with a 6 blade fan off the parts board for my 350 ,The local parts houses were more $ by at least $10.00 over the cost of Summit with the shipping it was $30. and change .

Re: Hayden Fan Clutch?
That Hayden #2705 is a light duty clutch and is fine for basic use. If your truck has A/C or gets worked hard or if you live where it gets hot, consider a Hayden #2747 which is a heavy duty clutch.
Check out this thread http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=751348 for more info and a link to Hayden's website (in post #3).

Re: Hayden Fan Clutch?
Has anyone tried the 2947? I've got a 454 with A/C that's running hot in the summer heat.

Subscribed
Had to replace fan clutch on my 72 350 with a/c last year, now it starts to get hot sitting in traffic with a/c running, didn't do that before. Didn't occur to me I may need a heavy duty. Edit: I ordered a Hayden 2747.

Re: Hayden Fan Clutch?
I think you'll be very happy with that 2747. BTW it comes with a [water pump] pilot bushing that you may need to use. Mine needed it.
