1968 C20 TO C10 conversion drop spindles
Going to be helping my son convert a 68 C20 LWB to a 1/2 ton SWB. Wondering if any one has used this ECE kit or if there is a better way like changing out the ball joints to the 1/2 ton style and just using regular drop spindles for a 1/2 ton.
Any down side to using the 3/4 ton components with the 1/2 ton brakes? Thanks for any advice or shared experience. https://www.earlyclassic.com/node/1402

Piecing together parts only saves around $150+ bucks if you buy them new vs an ECE kit. Are you just adding brakes or drop too? There is a thread on using the factory parts.
