Best aftermarket fender emblems?

I know the purist will say to use originals, but what company have you used with good results for new fender emblems?

1972 Cheyenne 10 Super, so I need both of those plus the engine size one at the front on each side.

I only have limited experience with these but have been impressed. I'm betting most of the big sellers may also sell TRIM Parts emblems.

Thanks. I have noticed the aftermarket glovebox super emblems are easy to spot with the wrong woodgrain pattern behind the letters. I have the original there. I don’t see how the external emblems could be that obvious as the design is much simpler.

Can you tell if this one is correct?

Yes, looks aftermarket. Look on the classifieds at original ones, and you’ll see what I mean. The brown area should look more like woodgrain than that does.

I like these Fender emblems. These are made by Fender and were first used on the brownface and blackface amps in the early 60s. The reproductions (*made by Fender) are very close to the originals.

Re: Best aftermarket fender emblems?

I literally had red paint flaking off one of my Cheyenne 20 emblems before my K20 had ten miles on it. Same problem later cropped up with the emblem on the opposite fender. Unsure which manufacturer but both POS emblems were since replaced with NOS emblems.

Very disappointed in the emblems I just received. They are Counterpart brand, not Trim Parts as I was expecting.

Re: Best aftermarket fender emblems?

Counterpart buys the emblems from Trim Parts.
Above statement I now know is incorrect
Had the office contact Counterparts and they stated they've been changing over to their own tooling on the emblems which we were not aware of. We are going through the emblems checking those without Trim Parts labels for quality and correctness and will switch on any emblem that is not of the highest quality available.
Counterparts makes several good parts that we source from them because they offer higher quality than others but there are other items they make we source elsewhere due to a different manufacturer supplier offering a higher quality. We do this with every part and supplier that we buy products from.
