1979 Pickup Bucket Seat Brackets WTB

I know this is probably a needle in a hay stack, but i have a 79 pickup w/ factory bucket seats and the brackets on the passenger side seat are in pretty bad shape. Does anyone have anything? Blazer brackets won't work i don't think.......

I would just fix those. They don't look too bad. The last complete set of buckets seat brackets that I saw they wanted $399. That was both sides. That being said, if you find some, I would be interested in your messed up ones as I am missing one for my seats.

Fixing them is probably the route i'm gonna have to take. I highly doubt i'm going to find anything, but if i do, i'll ping you about mine.

These do tend to crack and it isn't that big of deal to fix them. That is why one of mine is missing. I bought the seats and all that was left of one was the cracked tab still bolted to the seat. For what a set costs, if you aren't comfortable welding them, you could have them professionally done at a fraction of the cost

i'm comfortable welding them i guess, i was just seeing if something is out there. I started tweaking them yesterday and just about have them uniform all the way around which i'm happy with.

At least yours are all still there . They are super hard to find. I think it is really cool your truck came with them.
