70 Suburban front brake cylinder identification
4x4 originally a 6 cylinder swapped to 350 horse 69 Corvette.
I’m going to swap to a disk brake front end, but till then I just had the left front cylinder start leaking. Advance, NAPA and Autozone don’t have a listing, but carry rebuild kits. A web search of Brothers, etc don’t show the same thing. Cylinder mounts with 2 bolts and has both the brake hose and bleed nipple angled back to the rear of the wheel. The stuff I’m finding either has no threaded holes or the bleeder comes out at the top of the cylinder at 90 degrees. Either this cylinder is no longer available anywhere or the axle is non-Chevy. Anyone have any experience on this? |

I’ll have to crawl under when it’s light out.. I didn’t want to remove it till I had a replacement in hand.

Re: 70 Suburban front brake cylinder identification
Shouldn't be any different than the K/5 or a pick-up

Re: 70 Suburban front brake cylinder identification
Sounds like the heavy duty brake option. Check a c20 pickup in the parts listing and I bet you find the right part. Rock auto has th correct one as well
