They are the same. Honestly options are either $50.00 Rancho/procomp/rough country or $90 Bilstein or $130.00 Fox. Pretty much good/better/best. If you want ride step up to the Bilstein if you want cheap and new get the same as you have.

Re: ProComp shocks , anybody gotz them?
I had Tuff Country on my old Tahoe. Think they were $200, rode really nice. Offroaddesign.com has em, with all they do with GM trucks, if they use em there good for me. Bilstein are good, but depending which ones ride rougher than others. I have the blue/yellow n are firm...

Re: ProComp shocks , anybody gotz them?
I have Bilsteins on everything I own. You can get the off the shelf ones that are set by application but may ride rough. Like if you buy a shock for a 1 ton Chevy truck versus a 1/2 or 3/4 ton truck. I just call up Bilstein and ask them based on my application and then I can buy the compression and rebound I need rather than the over the counter which is a guess from Bilstein to cover there butts. I bought some really nice looking 5165 remote reservoir shocks for my k10 project and they were ordered for a great ride with custom length not for offroad abuse or hauling as it has turned out to be more of a show truck as I build it. Hope this helps
