Had the opportunity to get this one and I jumped all over it. 71 BB AC Truck. This will be a AWESOME build once I get to it. It does run and drive. Cab is in pretty good shape....

Thanks for posting the literature. I've seen the long beds before, not the "ute" version, that's got to be even more rare.

Very cool score!

My old neighbor from many moons ago (he's long gone) was a surveyor by trade and did a lot of contract work for the government. He showed me some photos of a dam project he had worked on and in one of the pictures was a dual cab truck like this, since I owned a 72 SWB 4x4 Super at the time I took notice that it looked like they had welded 2 cabs together. I quizzed him about it but he didn't know anything about the truck.....Now, many years later I know what it was!

I have no idea... I have to figure out what the PO3 hubcaps were, but they pulled these and put them on. Also the guy put a 5 lug rear axle on the back. Does have 8 lugs on the front. I have to decide if I am going to go 8 or 5 lugs across the truck.

Wonder what the history of this truck was? It would be interesting to know what it was purchased for originally back in the day.

Original sticker price was $3100, There is a decal on the tailgate for Iowa. I would like to know production numbers, but I think there is no way to find out.

There have been a couple I have seen on the board. I have only put my hands on two. I also just saw a 70 4x4 in Colorado. It was very nice. Most of these were rode hard and crushed wet....
