30 dollar tool boxes.

I have a new angle with my tools. As you can see by the pic, it's still a mess but I think it has potential. I can have one box setup for tire rotations and impact driver jobs. Another box with all 1/4inch tools. Another with all 3/8th tools. I like the idea of having a job to do and being able to grab it and go. Of course the big tool boxes in the garage will always have there place. But when you have let's say a simple job like hanging a shelf at your girlfriends house, its nice to be able to grab a toolbox and go.

What is that one with the drawer? Is it $30.00?

Re: 30 dollar tool boxes.

Bostich. I got it at menards for $30 about a year ago. Very nice box. I just got tired of looking at thousand dollar garage setups and decided to go this route instead of replacing my old worn out craftsman setup.

And I understand why you ask. Its definitely a high quality box for a cheap price. Sometimes places like menards sneak in some high quality for cheap. There masterforce brand is an example. Pretty good quality stuff.

Re: 30 dollar tool boxes.

I do the same thing except I use those OD green military tool bags. One is the go to bag with 3/8 sockets and metric wrenches you always use. Another is 1/2 sockets and semi commonly used wrenches. From there it's the tool bench that never seems to make it back into the tool boxes. I also have bags with VW diesel tools and the household electrical tools.
