Undercoating new bed

I have a new aftermarket 6 foot bed. It came with the E coating.
I am wanting to undercoat the bottom of the bed before I install.
Looking for recommendations on undercoating without breaking the bank
Anybody have any experience with the rest oleum brand rubberized undercoating will it stick to the E coating or will I need to rough it up before applying?

Re: Undercoating new bed

I would put epoxy primer then U-Pol Raptor bed liner. Epoxy primer gallon and activator about $120....Raptor 4qt and activator about $110. If you have the equipment....should be enough material to do the bed inside and out. Others can advise you on rubberized undercoating.

Re: Undercoating new bed

Either Raptor or spray can under coating you will need to scuff the e-coat for the best results.

I've built a few hot rods and scuffed the bottom of the car and used the spray can under coating has worked well and did not fall. Granted these are show cars that are lightly used.

If you are going to see harder use I would use Raptor. Cheapest and easiest would be take just bed floor to a body shop and have them spray the Raptor. You could scuff it yourself.
