Brake proportioning valve question

Can somebody tell me how a brake proportioning valve is supposed to be hooked up?? I swithed my front end to discs but i don't have the proportioning valve on it yet. I have the valve but I don't know what goes where. The brakes work better but still not that good. Thanks

There is a L bracket on mine that attaches to the master cylinder mounting bolts.

Me too! I'm a lil slow this morning,
On the valve is the bleeder screw, this is facing forward towards the front of the truck, the first port on the top is for the front brake line from the master cylinder, the second port is for the rear from the master, the large fitting/port at the rear is for the brake line to the rear brakes, and the other is the front brake line. Sorry for the long post hope it helps
