WTB tilt column gauge light socket

Everything on this Blazer is Hacked or inoperable.

I need one of the sockets that goes on the back of the cluster that provides power to the gear indicator bulb on a tilt column.

Thanks
Mark

Re: WTB tilt column gauge light socket

What you describe sounds like a non tilt column fiber optic set up. The tilts are illuminated by a light socket under the lens housing with power supplied via a column harness wire.

Re: WTB tilt column gauge light socket

with Pete's above reply, we recently posted several detailed parts pictures in the below linked thread on this same subject. If interested we have the complete tilt specific turn signal switch assembly available in GM NOS, the t/s switch has the extra grey power wire and socket for the light bulb. Mel

I need the bulb with that pigtail. You are saying an NOS switch should include it? Just curious what you get for them. I have to go through some of my old boxes. I "might have an NOS or reproduction switch in my parts box.

Do the aftermarket switches come with the bulb and pigtail?

If I have a switch missing the socket do you sell separately?

Do you sell the green caps separately? I have the metal cover but it doesn't have any cap.

As I was researching my non operational horn I found the wire coming from the column cut 6" from where it exited. I may have a switch somewhere and have to look. Do both the NOS and aftermarket switches have that socket? Where in the fuse box is it supposed to plug into?

Re: WTB tilt column gauge light socket

Can you post pics of what is there now? I believe the aftermarket harness has accommodations for the light socket but unsure if socket accompanies the harness or not. Socket was not on my last NOS harness.
