Dash pad removal...

How do I get to the speakers in the dash? I looked from under the dash and I see speakers on each side, but there's no wires soldered to them. How do I get the dash pad off to get to them? I don't want to hack up my doors for speakers, so I just want to get these to work.

I need some tunes, I'm tired of humming!

Thanks,

Elwood

Take off the Dash bezel and then take off the dash pad....
You have to unscrew them both....
Also on the dash pad there are two clips on either side in order for it to be held in there more sturdy....

It isn't as bad as it sounds - the stock speakers are tiny - I have pioneer replacements and the magnet on them are as big around as the actual speaker is.

I think these are the stock speakers. I guess I'll be able to tell when I open things up. Maybe I'll have to visit circuit city for some new ones.

Thanks for the info...
