C 20 sway bar recommendations

I'm wanting improve the way my '76 C20 handles, and am looking at a Hellwig #7726 rear sway bar. Anyone use one of these? Did it make a difference in sway or body roll? Thanks!

I put a C30 sway bar on my hopped up C20, and while when loaded I felt it helped immensely. Rather I had 2500 pounds in the bed or towing heavy.

Personally the way I drive I did not feel it helped handling to my benefits. I grew up with stiff front bars, and no rear bars so the rear end could rotate around when pushing corners hard. I was not a fan of how the rear bar always tried to straighten out the truck on me. Which is counter to the way I drive.

Some friends i had through the years loved front, and rear bars. They consequently thought i was crazy for liking my cars that loose.

It is all personal taste, and has to cover a multitude of situations that you can determine how beneficial it is to you.

I had front and rear beltech swaybars on my 76 for about 10 years. The roads here are so bad with their quilt work of patches I decided to experiment with the bars. I travel unloaded 99% of the time. With just the rear bar removed, I noticed maybe a very slight increase in body roll during cornering. The rear did ride smoother with no rear bar on the bad roads I travel daily. I then swapped the front back to my stock front bar and I could tell more body roll. But then again I noticed a smoother ride from the front. My opinion is if you travel smooth roads or regularly carry heavy loads, go with bigger front and a rear bar. If you offroad or have bad roads, just stick with the front stock bar.

I travel smooth roads and once in awhile pull a dump bed or car trailer. My truck is stock and at 50 mph and higher handles poorly on smooth hi ways with EZ curves. I did some measuring this A.M. and my truck leans about 1 1/2" to the pass side, so new springs are needed. Maybe all 4? Never heard of Beltech, I'll check them out. Thanks
