New to me 1961 c10
I have been on the site for 5+ years but mainly dabbled in the 67-72 stuff as I have a few of them. I have always wanted a 60-66 short bed truck and today I bought o e. It has been hidden in the oak trees of Oregon for awhile now but tomorrow she will get loaded on my trailer and headed to more comfortable condition's. The rust isn't to bad and she has a title so I'm good to go. Going to be swapping it out to a fleet side bed and hoping to do a two tone paint scheme....was that available in 61?. And any advice on things I should look for places of trouble on them please let me know......pretty excited to start a new body style and learn all the details

Nice knee-knocker!
Show some pics after you get it pressure washed. I can't think of any special things to look out for. These trucks rust in the same spots as the others: rockers, kick panels, cab corners, etc. You can easily lower the torsion bars to get a little drop if you're going for that look.
