2/4 drop questions
Morning All
got a question about a 2/4 drop bought the cpp front a arms, my mechanic who is also an incredible builder says if ive ever thought about a drop, nows the time to do it saying that, i like the basic stance of a stock truck, nothing bad about dropped trucks, i like all of them truck has a sloped back to front stance right now if i want to keep this stance, what springs would be best, if i buy stock, will it raise the front or should i account for at least a 1 inch drop for wore out springs Thanks for any Help and Pictures would be good

If you want to maintain most of the factory rake and drop the front 2-2 1/2” I’d say drop the rear about 3”. I’m looking for a little more level stance and am going 4” in rear and 2 1/2” up front. Little lower but nothing crazy.

I installed a 2.1/2” / 4" drop with factory height front coil springs on my 71 SWB. The body ended up near dead-nuts level on both sides..............OT, i'd never installed suspension before, but I can say stock coil springs with drop spindles is a chore...Good thing my kids are bigger than I am, we really needed the weight - even with the BBC drive-train on the frame. Jacks, blocks and stands everywhere

2.5 spindle drop with new stock moog springs. 4 inch rear bell tech spring
