Any one going?
Looks like kind of a mid-west tour. |

Not this year. Been on 6 of them but it's just to far to drive before and after.

Re: Hot Rod Power Tour
Its on my bucket list and I've been changing up things on my truck the last few years just so stuff like alternator, starter etc are up to snuff and I've had a 700R4 installed as well but I realize anything can happen. This year it ends in Madison Wisconsin only 1200 miles from here, two 600 mile days, and I'm hoping in 2021 it swings a tad more westward and ends in Kansas or Missouri and that's about as far West as I think it will go.

Re: Hot Rod Power Tour
Wish I could go but they'll be in Davenport, IA, only 30 miles from my place. Might have to go check it out. Our local car club is hoping they'll stop in our town on the way to Madison but we'll see.

Re: Hot Rod Power Tour
Nope. That route sucks, especially having to drive from the coast just to get there. Not interested in any of the stops.

Re: Hot Rod Power Tour
I have never done the power tour, but Davenport is only 5 hours from us. So we are going to hit Davenport and go to Madison and see how it goes. Wife and I are looking forward to it. Should be fun.

Re: Hot Rod Power Tour
I hope it doesn't get canceled like Disney and every major sport is right now.

Re: Hot Rod Power Tour
They pushed it back from June to Aug, but I am going! My first one ever and I can't wait! Who cares if the stops suck? We are there to hang out with hot rod folk and have fun! The cities are lucky for the revenue!

Re: Hot Rod Power Tour
We've done the tour a few times. Both long haul and a few stops. It is a great time. But book your hotels now as they are bought out at sometimes twice the price normal. As said above it is great fun for car folks.

Re: Hot Rod Power Tour
You will have a good time I'm sure. I have always had a blast when I go. I look forward to it coming back my way either at the start are finish. I just can't see having to drive both ways over 10 hours.
I have even been thinking about doing Car's & Cones one year.
