Looking for suggesting on a tilt column for my 55-59
I need to buy a tilt column for my 55-59 chevy truck and wanted to see what length is most popular for this truck. My options are 28"-32". Running a bench seat if that matters. Column shift also.

I went with ididit collapisble in the end.
Only thing I would say is consider your wiring. I did a full swap/rebuild LS - so that made the whole wiring mostly plug and play which was nice.

I used a cheap one without the park/reverse neutral safety switch and I am now opting to buy the nicer one so I have that feature. Lesson was don't buy the cheap one.
It was 32 with CCP power steering box. I need a different wheel for another inch as I have sort arms.

Well the choice is Ididit, Flaming river or OEM GM or Mopar. I say Mopar because their tilts that you might use have the GM based innards in them.
I know we seem to harp and harp on this but you either buy quality and buy once or buy cheap and then turn around and buy quality if you actually do drive the rig. The : I only trailer it to shows and never risk it on the street" brigade can probably get away with the cheap Ebay ones just fine.

Here's one for sale on the HAMB. Out of a C10, tilt, automatic and no column key. Looks like they are including the shaft and joints to the steering box as well.
