72 K5 blinker issue
This might seem ridiculous but I need help figuring out what to do to fix my blinker in my K5. When I turn to the right and turn the blinker on, after the turn, the blinker won’t shut off. I think it’s something inside the column, probably a small plastic part, but can someone direct me on what part it is and How to fix this annoyance?
Thanks in advance. ...and I tried to add a couple pics of my K5 for attention. 😬 |

Re: 72 K5 blinker issue
The ear that sticks that off part of the turn signal switch that canceling cam hits has broken. Requires new switch.

Re: 72 K5 blinker issue
I usually find that it's the turn signal cancel spring has broken. The springs are cheap and not that hard to replace. Hardest part is pulling the steering wheel.
