2007 Tahoe Dome Light Doesn't Work-Only 1 door
I have a 2007 Tahoe. Last year I got the driver door window switch wet in a storm and it shorted out. At first I thought it was the latch so I bought a GM latch and put it in. Then I realized it was the window switch and so I replaced that. It was Summer and so I don't know if the dome lights were coming on or not with that door. Over the Winter I noticed that the lights come on with the key fob unlock, but won't stay on with drivers door open. All other doors are fine; if you open them with door unlocked the dome light comes on/stays on while door is open. I have done a search on the 'net and all the suggestions are to check the override switch. That is not my problem. This is only the drivers door. Is it likely that my new latch is bad? Any other thoughts before I throw another one at it.

If the lights come on when the other doors are opened, it sounds to me like the driver door latch isn't working. It could also be a broken wire in the door jamb
