WTB KC Hilites Stuff

Hello. I’m not sure how much of this stuff is still out there, but I’m looking for KC hilites accessories. Either New or Like New condition. Not looking for the common 6” off road lights. I’m interested more in the interior and exterior accessories.

I’m not sure what the company offered in the 70’s and 80’s but I have a pretty cool map light that they made. Or if someone has a catalogue I’d be interested in buying that too.

Thanks -Vinnie

I left a message with their marketing. We’ll see if they get back to me

Re: WTB KC Hilites Stuff

Justin from KC Hilites called me right back and let me know that he was willing to look into it. Nice guy and willing to help. I hope it works out

Re: WTB KC Hilites Stuff

Justin got back to me again today and let me know that he would be scanning some pages of some old stuff they have.

I have to say that is a solid for someone not even buying a new product from the company right now. I will buy some new lights in the next few months because I think they have good products and I like the way I was treated.

Re: WTB KC Hilites Stuff

I was the catalog kid! Man I love that old stuff... and the catalogs. Great pictures! I bought from Dick Cepek, KC Daylighters, 4WPW, House of Steel, Desert Dynamics, Hickey, Burbank Spring, Superlift, Rough Country, Fly-N-Hi, and on and on. I'd send away for the catalogs from ads in the back of magazines and order stuff. People were always asking "Where did you find that?" about things on my trucks.

I looked for years for the early KC Daylighter "Keep On Truckin'" covers with the truckin' dude on it. There's a nice pair on Ebay right now

He wants 250 for those, does that mean my single still in the wrapper is worth 125.00?

Re: WTB KC Hilites Stuff

Matt I was looking through some very old threads and see where I actually did buy this from you. But it says you sold them in pairs. I wonder where my other one is ?

Now I gotta dig through some more junk haha!

Re: WTB KC Hilites Stuff

Wow I don’t remember selling it to you. I sold one to Keith and he was reselling but I have zero memory. Dang divorce! I have a similar plight. I bought a hickey light bar from a really nice member but never opened the box for two years. When I did, like two days ago , the hickey end caps were missing. So all I have is a five foot piece of aluminum channel. Where they went who knows but we are both looking
