Help . I am wanting to buy a aftermarket relay box with a fuse strip built in it for both my fuel pump and cooling fans.. I have been told for the fuel pump I need a 4 pin 30 amp. I am assuming for the dual cooling fans I will need the same. My question is everyone seems to want to sell me a 5 pin relay not a 4 pin. . Ebay has a great bare box but I am trying to buy the complete system (Relays and fuses included) as my wiring knowledge is little. Anyone have a source for this. I seen the box and relays on another thread and love the way they look. Thanks

is this for a LS engine?
for elec fans I use relays from PSI..https://www.psiconversion.com/produc.../KIT-1010.html
youll need a separate relay for each fan to run them independent

they also sell a diy relay fuse kit that's 40Amp...https://www.psiconversion.com/produc.../KIT-1023.html
but all my fuel controls are in the fuse block for the engine wiring harness on mine

Thanks I am looking for a box that will hold 4-6 relays so I can mount one unit to the side fender and run all my relays from it.

Yes it uses 5 pin relay, but you just wire 4 of them up. Two for the switched power, and two to carry the load to the fans. There tons of images and stuff online, I’ve had to do a lot of reading myself.

That is the one I got my eye on. just wasn't sure if the 5 pins would work using them as 4 pins. Thanks

My only real criticism is that the fuses don't have a positive buss, so each has to be wired separately or with jumpers. Kind of a pain.

been told to use 30 amp relay on fuel pump what amp is everyone using for cooling fans, I am using a set of fans out of a 2005 dodge advenger. it looks like oem 12 gauge wire coming from them. Also going to put a fuse
inline for each relay does it go before the relay or after or does it matter. Thanks

on my psi harness fuel and fans all use 30a relays

You can use 5 pin relay you gust don’t use pin 87a if you’re using 3 relays for your fans you need 5 pin

I am in the process of doing the exact same thing but a making my own relay fuse panel. This is an in-process pic so obviously I am not finished wiring up all the connections. The fourth fuse on the fuse block is being used for my headlight relay mod. All the parts are available on Amazon and were pretty cheap.
