The new Ole Sarge Customs shop
The building is 70x30. Uninsulated, no power. There is a dividing wall providing a 40 ft (with a ceiling),and a 30ft unfinished side.

Re: The new Ole Sarge Customs shop
I immediately commissioned a friend to wire the shop. As a shop. 200 Amp main with 4 dedicated 220V circuits, 1 20 amp breaker for each wall, 15 amp for lights only.

I also had him install garage door openers on every door, and motion detector LEDs outside

Re: The new Ole Sarge Customs shop
Next we found a working 1946 Philco refrigerator, and I knew it was perfect for the shop!

Re: The new Ole Sarge Customs shop
Then a good friend of mine started petitioning tool manufacturers and telling them my story. I received several care packages. We also decided that a proper bench should be 16ft, and set about extending it. Alex got a new toolbox too.

Re: The new Ole Sarge Customs shop
And now I’m having an additional 24x40 building constructed to move some of my cars and open up some bay space. It should be finished on Monday.

Re: The new Ole Sarge Customs shop
When I say that we have "closed”, we merely went from being a business to an active hobby until such time as we can employ a full time work force.

Re: The new Ole Sarge Customs shop
We’re also taking bids to extend the shop another 10', making it 30x80. Moving that useless side door to the front and an 8x10 Office just left of the man door.

A man can never have too much covered space, especially if you are into automobiles.
Looking fantastic.

we finally managed to close up that hole in the ceiling for the garage door opener, so now we can put blow in insulation up there!
