August 2020 ToTM
For our August 2020 Truck of the Month (ToTM) contest the theme is
Peridot For those of you who don’t know, Peridot is gem-quality olivine and a silicate mineral that is a birthstone for the Month of August. So, since GM in the early days had several colors with the olive word in their name, that is where we are going. Here are the criteria to nominate a gem of a vehicle for this month’s contest.
To Nominate: You or someone else may nominate the vehicle. The nominee must be a board member and the current owner of the truck. Once you decide on who you wish to nominate, just add your nomination to this thread. In addition, we will need the owner’s board name and the Make/Model/Year of vehicle. Nominations will run through July 24. The first 15 nominees that meet the criteria will participate in the contest. We will need two pictures minimum (at least one full view of the vehicle) with/for the nomination as well as the owner’s board name, the Make/Model/Year of vehicle. I will PM the nominees to get any additional data or pictures if they have not already been provided. If the owner has a preferred picture they want used in the contest, please let me know in a PM. You can PM me for an e-mail address in case anyone has problems resizing the pictures for the board. A Poll Thread will be set up July 25 in this board area and an announcement will be posted on the Discussion Boards to notify all that voting has begun. The Poll will run thru the morning of August 1 and the official announcement of the winner will be on the evening of August 1. The announcement of the ToTM winner will be posted through the General Discussion Board area.

Re: August 2020 ToTM
Not sure if he still has it, but I'll nominate a hometown truck. Rods 72 Custom/10 is pretty sweet.

Re: August 2020 ToTM
I see some trucks that are green but not olive and one extremely nice dark olive we need to confirm is still owned by Rods. This nominations thread needs some cleaning up to keep with the theme of trucks in colors that have "olive" in the name
