i know. a grand is insanely outrageous for buckets. i was just trying to imagine the motive for that price tag.

i've bought complete driving trucks with those seats for less than half what he's asking and a few of them had tach's and/or speedwarnings too. i've owned at least 20 sets of those seats over the years and never paid more than 75 dollars for a set. the last set i got was from a local wrecking yard, i paid 50 bucks and the yard worker helped me take them out and load them in my truck and the original upholstery is still good. that was a couple years back. last year i bought a 68 CST longbed 1/2 ton 2wd 327, turbo 400, a-c, p-s, p-b, and buckets, original paint and a one owner truck, drove it home for 600 bucks.

I don't think the seller is on drugs or out of line for offering them for that price (or higher). It's his nickel on evilbay. Now if I clicked on that link and saw they were sold, I might suspect the buyer to be on drugs

Anybody price tow hooks lately? Things change. The bad news for the seller is they haven't changed that much, yet....only time will tell.

If they sell for that price----watch what happens to those on this board~~~~. It's all supply and demand. Our am/fm radios, tach dashes, speed control, etc. shouldn't bring what they bring either. If you had a set of early buckets----and saw these sell for $1,000. would you offer yours up for sale for $250.??? If so, why?
I've seen consoles sell for $175 on e-bay that we all know can be had for $20-30. and just get cleaned and repainted. I've sold black seatbelt sets for $30. only to see them bring $150. on e-bay. Some of our board's biggest recyclers started selling on this board only to realize the potential of a much bigger market (not necessarly smarter) on e-bay and now their prices reflect the e-bay market, not this boards. Whatever floats your boat.
After a while the e-bay thing becomes a real hassle with sellers and buyers who are BS or worse. I have probably sold $10,000. worth of stuff on e-bay over the past couple of year and only do it when absolutely necessary. Overseas sales are very risky and buying truck stuff is even worse. My .02

I gave $600 for mine and they were just re-done. Its all in what your willing to pay for what you want. If its not in your price range (this guy is WAY out of it ) then keep lookin. I always say if there's something you want "Stop Lookin" it will come along
