Bitter Sweet Day
Bought a set of complete matching front & rear Diffs. today at what I thought was a cheap price. ($200.00 for both) 12 bolt rear & 44 front with 3.73s. (SWEET)
I also had made a call to a guy that had some awsume AZ parts for sale. 69 cab NO RUST AT ALL, SWB 4x4 roling chaise complete with dana 60 rear, 44 HD front, 4 speed and a 350. All had been redone painted and ready to go. This was a project that he had been working on for his son, but the son DIDN"T WANT that old truck !!!!!. So he was selling it. I missed his return call, whille I was out picking up the diffs. Spoke to him later that day to find out he had sold everything for under $2,000. (BITTER) SOOOO BUMMED OUT !!!! |
