Yep... a 71 K-20 this time.

Not very often i get to drive one home but i did this time. Still needs plenty of tinkering and has plenty of rust. Engine has a tick that isn't going away either.
Has the red lockouts and everything else looks to be 71, so they could be correct for it. Was nice someone added a 4 speed tilt column too.
I almost have too much stuff now... almost.
Enjoy the pics

Wow! A work truck! Does that mean you are going to get some work done?...

Looks pretty good in the pictures.

Re: Yep... a 71 K-20 this time.

Is the blue build date sticker still on the drivers door? My 9-70 built 71 K/20 had red lockouts on it. I always thought they had been changed, but I’m thinking some early trucks got left over ‘70 red knobs

Would be nice to get some work done on these old trucks! In the middle of busy season now, then it will be cold before you know it!

That's a very nice find! I like it a lot. Except for the steering wheel. But you probably have one or 10 for it already.

Not sure why some of these and the camaro steering wheels get so cruddy and sticky feeling. The steering wheel could be yours...

Someone gave that truck some extra love along the way, chrome bumper, door panels, chrome low-mount mirrors. Pretty cool set of three specific options and a basic truck, cargo lamp, full foam seat, and wood bed floor

Don't forget the chrome tow hooks and tilt steering. Even the flat bed was pretty nice at one time. (rusty now)
