Bench seat console

68 c-10 with stock bench seat. I am looking for a console to put on floor, in front of seat
I want cup holders and big enough to put stereo and speakers in it. Any available anywhere or do i have to build my own ? TKS.

Re: Bench seat console

There are tons of the style that normally sit on the bench seat that shouldn't be hard to fab a base for to set on the hump. You just reverse it from it's normal positioning on the seat so the cup holders are to it's rear.

I'd make it to be removable because you are going to have an unhappy middle passenger if you have anyone over three ft tall riding in the middle when you go three up.

Re: Bench seat console

I went down to Virginia Beach to a store called Woodcraft,(wood hobby supply shop) and talked with one of the instructors there and he made me a console box with cup holders and a top tray and cut outs for 2 6x9 speakers on the side. cost me 65 dollars

I just gave him a rough drawing . just something you could look into local wood worker or cabinet guy on the side
