'55 Chevy in Lovecraft Country TV Series
Anyone else watching this series? I JUST started watching episode #1 - I won't give away too much because I haven't seen that much - but there's a chase scene with a '55 Chevy truck that gets totaled.
Too damn bad too because if it really is the truck they show you before the crash it looks like it WAS in REALLY nice shape....though completely wrong for the era. It's two tone, it's lowered on independent front suspension and has whitewalls on chrome reverse wheels. All of which which you would never have seen in those days. Anyway, just wanted to ask if anyone else has seen this yet? Lots of nice vintage cars in the series so far. A REALLY nice '40 Ford sedan you get a quick look at in the same chase scene too. Enjoy!

Yes, I saw it and thought, “that doesn’t belong there”. General population wouldn’t know that, just us truck folks.
There are some nice old cars on that show. Really like the woody wagon.
