alternator
Ok here my question I have a 69 GMC truck my motor was bad so I put in a motor from a 1976 Malibu stationwagon and the old motor relay for the alternator was on the core support.so since new one has it built in on the alternator .how do i hook it up .the old wires were red,white,blue,black thanks

I trust that you kept the short water pump and pulley setup from the 69 and did not use all the long pump stuff from the Malibu?
If you did, switch back to all the short pump stuff. You will be happier long term... the Malibu alternator bolts right into the original brackets. Then just follow the instructions as outlined above for using the internal regulator alternator.
