GMC Pauls
I ordered a part this morning from GMC Pauls and got the following automated response:
GMCPauls Truck Parts <robbinspd1199@yahoo.com> 11:13 AM (5 minutes ago) to me Our office is temporarily closed Thursday & Friday 8/27 & 8/28th due to a sudden death. We will reopen on Monday 8/31/2020 Due to our business being entirely run by family and it being the owners father that has untimely passed away from Covid-19, some members of our staff will be out of office off and on all week due to this so our normally prompt responses may be delayed. Our office will then be closed again Friday Sept. 4th while we all gather to celebrate his life and lay him to rest to be with his wife and family that preceded him in passing. Thanks to everyone for your understanding during these trying times. I know everyone on this forum thinks highly of this family.

Re: GMC Pauls
Truly sad to read this. Have dealt with GMC Pauls many times over the past years and always received great parts and excellent customer service. May the family find peace in their time of sorrow. Condolences for their loss.

Re: GMC Pauls
Paul Jr just informed me of this post and I would like to Thank You All for your caring and understanding during this trying time for myself and immediate family. You have all been family to us as well and we greatly appreciate this outreach of comfort and support I'm seeing here and in direct emails to us. I'm sorry I haven't had the time to be here on the board in recent years like I was in past, thankfully Paul Jr has been able to step in and still keep us involved and aware of everything happening here as he enjoys this board the same as myself and is here when time allows in life. Life has been very trying the last 3-4 years with my wife developing Pancreatic cancer, then undergoing Whipple procedure and chemo followed by several years now of additional surgeries 6 with last just 2 weeks ago ( Bless the lord though shes around a 3-4 year survivor now of this cancer which fewer than 12% survive this long ) and then my mother passing Dec, 18th 2018 from lung cancer within weeks of finding out had left me helping care for my father with Parkinson's and youngest brother that is bi-polar schizophrenic, and now dads passing within 7 days of contracting Covid-19 has just upended things again. So my times been heavily occupied these past few years. But bless my family they've stepped up and kept me strong and we continue to try to do the best we can for everyone day in and day out. sorry if this post has been rambling and disjointed I'm still in a haze. Again my thanks and best wishes to all our brothers and sisters on the board here your family to us also and as said previously your caring and compassion is so Greatly Appreciated and Welcomed.
