Fuel tank relocation without removing bed?
The kits I have seen for relocating the fuel tank involves removing the bed. Does anyone know if there is one where you can leave the bed in place?

Re: Fuel tank relocation without removing bed?
You mean without removing any wood also?
I think maybe the Boyd Tanks units you could conceivably do it. Still have to locate the fill hole in the bed though, so you'd have to drop that tank a couple of times.

Re: Fuel tank relocation without removing bed?
I relocated my tank under the bed using the Brothers Truck tank (top fill) without having to remove the bed. My bed floor is steel, so I REALLY did not want to have to remove the bed. It can be done.

Any pics? Where did you put the fill nozzle?

Re: Fuel tank relocation without removing bed?
This from Boyd Tank:
https://fueltankparts.com/collection...l-non-efi-tank A little pricey, $417.00; and I'm sure I need to come up with the side fill spout, etc.

Re: Fuel tank relocation without removing bed?
I already had a hole in the bed with a little door from a previous fuel cell that was installed. Boids are vary helpful and willing to customize the fill location.

Re: Fuel tank relocation without removing bed?
Here’s a photo of the door. I don’t really have any installation photos sense I installed it with the bed on it. If my bed is full I can’t fill the tank but I don’t really use my bed much anyway. Don’t want to scratch it and will bottom out if anything heavy is in there
