Re: Wiring a 700R4
What you mean no wiring ? no wiring at all or the plug is not wired up. Just google it ten different ways to do this . Is it a manual valve body or ??? Not near enough info.

Re: Wiring a 700R4
There is no wiring to the plug. I don't think it has a manual valve body.

Re: Wiring a 700R4
Sounds like you need to drop the pan and have a look see ,do you know if its a lock-up convertor or not. Hopefully Clinebanger will chime in and help

Re: Wiring a 700R4
How do I determine if it has a lock up converter?

Re: Wiring a 700R4
Not to hijack the thread but I’ve got a question about wiring my lockup. The builder wired it internally but I’m a little confused on the exterior wiring. Truck was originally a 3spd on the column so I’m not sure where to head in on the wiring. If I buy a kit I’ll end up with a bunch of extra parts I don’t need. Does anyone know what exactly I need as far as brake switch etc? Thanks

1 harness will feed 12 volts to the pressure switch and the other will feed from the pressure switch to the external tranny plugin...very simple. I'm quite sure it even comes with instructions. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...Y510T9EB&psc=1 |

Re: Wiring a 700R4
That connector I think will lock the converter when you apply 12 volts. You need to have a set up like sheep dip recommends.
