02 a-arms, spindles and brakes swap to 67 c10 frame?

Anyone know if 02 1500 a-arms, spindles and calipers would bolt up to a 67 c10 frame? Has anyone tried? I have a line on a whole front end and wondered if it could work.

I have seen people do weird things like that before, but usually it requires modified upper A-arms. Rather it worked or not would be the question. It could induce alot of bump steer or some other issue you rather not have.

If it were me I would splice in the 02 suspension cradle atleast to bring the whole package together.

Or you could read the make it handle thread, and modify your cradle. Or buy one of the many bolt in options that have a guarantee.

Also the rear suspension , and good tires are litterly 1/2 of any front suspension package improvements.

Also know that the 1999-2006 Chevy trucks are hubs and not spindles.

Great info, and yes i mistakenly said spindles, your correct with hubs.. wonder if the just the hub and hub assembly would mount to the stock 67 a-arms with correct ball joint size?

In addition to the track width increase using the arms/uprights/hubs, you would need to know all of the uprights pick-up point geometry (of each set-up) so that any swap done maintains it's correct angles/settings. Seems it would be easier to just adapt big brakes to the correct spindles.

The 02 stuff is also about 4 inches wider.
