Inline 6 power steering pump interchange
I have a 1975 250 Chevy Nova inline 6 power steering power pump brackets. I have a guy asking me if these will fit a 1966 Chevy Truck 230 inline 6. Does anyone know what the interchange is?
Thanks

Re: Inline 6 power steering pump interchange
They swap but only if the 75 250 is not an integrated head.
If the intake and manifold bolt on you should be good. Integrated head was all one piece of head and intake. Pics here. http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=563859 |

Re: Inline 6 power steering pump interchange
And have him check he actually has a 230.
Tell him to measure the side covers. 230, 250 are about 4 inches high. 292 is 6 inches high. Brackets for 292 are different. |
