Tilt column, van style
$200 local, $240 shipped
Please respond in thread only per board rules, first "I'll take it" gets it. Selling a van-style tilt column. From a mid 70s GM chassis. It has the motor home lower shift arm. I moved the NSS down so it's a bolt-in for your 67-72; I used my multi-meter to adjust it, you may need to fine tune it after install. Turn signal has no lever, your original will fit Turn signal switch is tight and cancels as it should. Includes the pigtail with the flat wire end so you can modify your harness for the newer style switches. Includes the cancel cam The gray illumination wire is fairly long and has the green connector. Includes a pigtail for the Neutral Safety/Reverse switch Tilt mechanism is tight and smooth. The 4 bolts in the tilt mechanism that typically loosen over time have been removed and reinstalled with lock-tight. Tilt pivots were cleaned and lubed when removed to tighten the bolts. The bottom bearing was cleaned and greased The upper bearings were cleaned and greased The shift indicator bulb was replaced and tested OK, it has the green shade on it. Shifter lever end (inside column) is good, pivot is average. Shifter knob has a zing on the plastic as pictured. This is the short van lever, great if you have a smaller wheel. Shift arm and adjuster lever have decent chrome, they shine up well. The finish on it is OK, great for a driver. Some scratches and wear as pictured. It has the original gear indicator, still works ok. Not totally chalked out. You will need to add your dash and firewall gaskets, as well as the firewall plate. The new gaskets will stretch over the shift arm. Old ones may split. **I will ship it with the levers and indicator housing removed to avoid shipping damage** There is a trick to getting the indicator housing and pointer on, I can go over it with you if needed.
