Opinion please

I purchased these grill guard sides from hardcorecash ... https://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/...ighlight=guard ...

I was going to use them on one of my 4x4 projects. But now since I cleaned house and have no more projects except my C30 Dually I was thinking now what do I do with them?

What do you guys think, would they look good on the dually? I have a set of the taller stock chrome ones with the rubber in the middle I was planning on using. But maybe since its a pretty beefy truck the smallish guard/push addition would look pretty good? Smallish in comparison to those guards that cover the entire grill area.

I like the short ones on the Blazer but the tall ones may look better on the C30.... Dunno.

Re: Opinion please

Not a fan of these unless hitting large animals on the freeway at night is a concern.

Re: Opinion please

They look good on a 4x4 but I'm not a fan on 2WD trucks. But its your truck so if you think they look good to you do it.

Hi Mark,
Both are nice.
Curious....do you have a chrome or painted front bumper on the C30?
I like the shorter guard with a matching finish to your bumper.

Thats part of my dilema. The C30 is a Cheyenne Super so its chrome. I was thinking maybe paint it the same silver as the grill?

In the end though Ill probably go with the stock Chevy bumper guards. Im just finding a ton of stuff I purchased over the years that will be hard to sell because of the skyrocketing shipping costs.

With all the swap meets shut down to who knows how long that part of selling has been shut down.

They have a chrome like powder coating application that is pretty impressive and durable.
As far as that endless inventory of parts you are so worried about
They will just appreciate and will sell here locally.
Hopefully the crazy current events will improve and we can get things back to our original routines soon.

I just ordered 50 boxes from USPS, assorted sizes. For now that's the only way Ill ship. Super easy to quote prices that way ... If they fit, they ship haha!

I dont really want to go as far as a lot of fellas here that have actual accounts with the major shippers. Scales at home, pricing labels from home etc etc. Maybe someday, but probably not.

Re: Opinion please

I lik3e the "dress-up" bumper guards on a one ton. It's taking the whole Cheyenne Super thing another step

This is my old '70 CST/30 Custom Camper on it's haggered last days on the road. But you can probably see through the tarnish and rust to see the route I went for the little big truck... cjrome Budds, chromed mirrors, bumper guards, pinstripe,
