Fire ball for engine compartment
What do you think about a fire ball type device for engine compartment fire protection? Perhaps mount it in place of or next to the A/C vacuum ball or on the under side of the hood?
https://www.elidefireus.com/product-...-ball-4-inches There is Elide brand that claims patent and to be the original dry fire extinguisher type, and several knock off brands like AFG and AFO. Non-toxic, eco friendly and all that jazz. Comments? |

Re: Fire ball for engine compartment
They supposedly are flame activated, not heat activated.

Re: Fire ball for engine compartment
First I've ever heard of them. Smart, especially if you are using a leaky gas filter.
