4WD to 2WD Porterbuilt project!!

So in August my son and I purchased a 72 4WD Blazer that was here local. We were already building a Porterbuilt chassis for a truck project so we just switched it all over to the blazer frame. I was able to sell the tow hooks and 4WD suspensions and motor and trans and got about half the money back for the blazer. We chose to do an LS (never done one) and go with the retro look. We do not plan on painting it just repairing the rust below the trim and try to bring back what is left of the paint. We are converting the dash over to a factory a/c dash and adding a stock tach dash. We are planning on 20 and 22 wheels. If I can find some stock seats for the front we will do a stockish interior. Anyway here are some pics of the project as of now.

Also as a side note, I have been a member of this site now for 20 years and 6 months. I also designed the logo you see up on the top of this page

Here are a few more.....

Oh the controller you see on the valley plate is a heater control panel that has been converted over to air ride controls so it will look stock once it is in the dash.

And I thought I'd been here for awhile! Good to see you at it. I remember all the photochops you used to do.

Good luck, Rg

Bunch of small updates here and there. Really waiting on parts at this point. I did do passenger side door hinges, inner and outer rocker and some floor work as well as the passenger lower b pillar support, torsion box supports and new lower rear fender repair

Just about to set it outside for some pics and to flip it around in the shop and do the driver side
