interchange ?

I know that JYD has an interchang manual. Any one else? I have an oppertunity to trade an axle (one side) that will fit a 1970 chevelle in return I will get an in the progress build up 350 with all the parts. Any one now if a axle for a '72 burb 1/2 ton or a '73 el camino will fit? Any one know the length and spline count?

Talking

I am pretty sure the axle won't fit. Also, the wheel bolt pattern is different.

10 bolt and 12 bolt axle shafts are the same lengths left and right and 10/12 bolt. The difference is 28 spline for 10bolt and 30 spline for 12. The length is 30 5/32" from WMS to end of spline.
Interchange between cars is limited to 2nd generation F-body (70-up Firebird/Camaro) and 68-72 Chevrolet A-body (Chevelle/Malibu/MonteCarlo).
If the guy wants to use C-clip eliminators, he might see if Tempest/GTO/Cutlass/442/Skylark/GS axle shafts from 68-72 might fit, but my interchange manual doesn't indicate them as donors.
