New to the forums
Hi everyone, I am new to the board and am in the process of restoring a 57 long box stepside.
Here's a question for all of you veteran chevy owners. I have a 56 burb that I'm parting out, with the complete original running napco 6 lug drive train. I want to sell as a package deal, both differentials, transfer case, shifter and linkages, and both driveshafts, and possibly the 3 speed manual if it is wanted to keep everything matching. What are these selling for in running condition? I can take some pics, and look for numbers if it will help. Thanks, redline_chevy |

How cool! Another Michigan "Truck Nut" Yes I know what you might have, I may be able to help you sell your parts. But first I would like to ask the question other readers might also want to know... Why are you parting out a 56 Panel and not restoring it?

It is wasted,...
The rear driver's side is trashed from an accident, and the bottom 12 to 14" of the whole body is completely gone, not to mention 1" of rust through above the rain channel that goes half way down the length of the top of the roof on both sides. also extensive rust in pretty much where ever you could imagine. I could not even salvage any of the doors, or hood or front fenders due to extensive rust. Also, I don't know if you mis-understood, but it is not a panel, it has side windows, although it has barn doors like a panel.
I am supposed to be getting a 58 burb for parts next week, and that one is in far better shape, but my concentration is on my 57 p/u until I get it done. By the way, I already bookmarked your site, and since you are relatively close to me, don't be suprised if I do some business with you since I can go to your shop and avoid alot of outrageous shipping charges, not to mention your prices are reasonable compared to alot of others I have seen. Thanks, redline_chevy |

Thanks Guys, this site is too cool, once I read how to post some pics I'll post one of my truck.
Anyone know what a complete dash from a 56 burb is worth? I'll post a pic once it comes back from the blast shop. Thanks for the welcome, redline_chevy |

Been There Done That!
57MAC sent me a link to a chevy dash on Ebay the other day ... starting bid was $90.00. rico_bob
P.S. And Mac can tell you they are not easy to remove! Been there done that.
